Taking care of your binder
Keep your binder away from direct heat, this means don't hang it on a radiator to dry, or leave it out in the hot sun, or use a tumble dryer.
Make sure you wash your binder regularly as bacteria can build up and cause skin irritation.
Do not iron your binder directly.

Important things to know before buying a binder!
DO NOT:
-sleep in your binder
-exercise in your binder
-use it for more than 8 hours.
This can cause pain, and at worse, permanetly damage your lungs or ribs.
Limit the amount of time you bind and listen to your body. If you feel pain or have any difficulty breathing, remove your binder. Maybe your binder was too tight, or you have been binding for too long without a break.
